Colden is proud to announce that senior project manager, Jim Miades, has been certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). As manager of Colden’s New York City office, Jim has over 18 years of professional experience delivering hazardous materials management services with a focus on renovation and construction projects. He has also managed asbestos and lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments of military family housing and base facilities at 60 United States Air Force bases across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Central America. These projects addressed over 70 million square feet of building space and required the collection of over 50,000 samples. Recently, Jim has helped guide many of Colden’s NYS and NYC clients in compliance with new cooling tower Legionella regulations and management of Legionellosis risks from building water systems.
