Antonio (Tony) Cofresi is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with over 39 years of experience in industrial hygiene, site-specific safety management, environmental regulation compliance, asbestos and lead management, indoor air quality, and disaster response. He has extensive industrial hygiene experience conducting surveys and assessments, third party asbestos and lead monitoring, and development of operational plans and maintenance programs.

Mr. Cofresi began his career as an industrial hygiene technician in the US Air Force and continued in other federal agencies.  Throughout his career, he has held various roles such as hazardous waste manager, asbestos and lead compliance manager, and as a disaster response member in the US Coast Guard.

Mr. Cofresi earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland University College. He maintains certification in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).

When not assisting clients with their health and safety needs, Mr. Cofresi, enjoys traveling and visiting historical sites. He specifically enjoys spending winter months in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands, hiking, and engaging in local culture and customs.
