Production Safety Specialist
Working out of Colden’s Atlanta office, Ms. Klimko provides production safety services to the Georgia film and television industry. She has more than 14 years of experience in the entertainment industry in various positions.
Ms. Klimko was most recently the Manager of Contract Services Administration Training Trust fund, a non-profit organization that administers services to below-the-line workers in the California motion picture and television industry. She managed the administration of and development of over 30 safety training courses, which were administered online and in a classroom setting, some with hands-on, equipment training components. Rigging Safety, Fall Protection, Scaffold Erection and Dismantling, Noise Exposure, Compressed Gas and Fuel Cylinders, Hazard Communication (including the new GHS standard), Location Manager Safety, Lighting Safety for Portable Power Systems, and Workplace Electrical Safety for Facilities and Other Permanent Installations (based on NFPA 70E standards) are just a few courses she helped develop in recent years.
Prior to her position with C.S.A.T.T.F., Ms. Klimko was involved in the physical production of film and television. Some of her credits include: Awkward, It’s Complicated, G.I. Joe, Angels & Demons, Tropic Thunder, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Mission: Impossible III.
Ms. Klimko holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Production Technology and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She holds certification in the OSHA Construction Safety and Health 30-hour training course.
