Curt J. Wittman,
MS, CIH, CSP
Curt Wittman, MS, CIH, CSP, offers 30 years of occupational health and safety experience. Mr. Wittman is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He has evaluated industrial hygiene, safety and environmental issues in manufacturing plants, paper mills, pharmaceutical plants, laboratories, quarries, construction sites, institutions of higher learning and government facilities. Mr. Wittman’s extensive safety program management experience guides his approach to the unique internal needs of clients. Prior to joining Colden, Mr. Wittman managed his own consulting firm specializing in environmental, health and safety issues as well as successfully directing the safety department of a large Philadelphia electrical contractor.
Mr. Wittman works with clients to achieve regulatory compliance and best practice excellence using his successful, “Safety Integrity” approach. Mr. Wittman is a dynamic and passionate safety and health speaker. His training authorizations include: 10/30 hour Construction Outreach instructor, and Basic/Core SafeLand/SafeGulf instructor.
Mr. Wittman’s career includes: insurance safety and health with an emphasis on ergonomics assessments and loss reduction; consulting and directing the safety and health programs at electrical contractors, heavy highway construction, multi-story building construction and gas utilities.
Mr. Wittman earned a Master of Science in Environmental Health from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from SUNY – Utica. Mr. Wittman is a commercial pilot and a flight instructor, which has significantly honed his Effective Safety Communication presentations. Mr. Wittman is also a Smith System Defensive Driver Instructor.
