Health and Safety Specialist
Working out of Colden’s New York City office, Dania Chaban provides EHS support to Fortune 100 clients. With over three years of field experience in the industry, she specializes in providing health and safety support to global broadcast media personnel including reporters, cameramen and producers. Project experience includes managing industrial hygiene programs and chemical inventory and conducting comprehensive workplace exposure assessments, ergonomic assessments, health and safety investigations, indoor air quality assessments, and respirator fit-testing. She also oversees EHS training programs for topics such as hostile environments, civil unrest, fall protection and fork lift and scissor lift operation.
Ms. Chaban holds a bachelor of science in physics and pre-engineering, and a minor in chemistry from St. John’s University. During her time at St. John’s, Dania took on the role of public relations manager for the Society of Physics. She also served as a student research assistant studying and researching energy efficiency. Her research focused on solar energy conversion and a cost benefit analysis of solar energy verses other methods of fuel source. She is currently pursuing a masters of science in occupational and environmental science from New York University. As an active member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the American Society of Safety Engineers, Ms. Chaban is working towards becoming a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
