Mr. Jordan Watson serves as a Colden Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist. He provides support for air monitoring for environmental remediation and asbestos abatement projects. Mr. Watson also provides respiratory protection training and fit testing for various clients throughout the Tri-State area.
In his previous role as an EHS Specialist in manufacturing, he worked to promote occupational safety and health awareness. He coached plant personnel on safety requirements associated with their job such as machine guarding and working at heights. His experience extends to managing the collection and evaluation of industrial hygiene data, including air monitoring, ventilation monitoring, and chemical wipe sampling. Jordan also provided administrative support for safety and environmental programs including coordinating monthly and make-up training, employee physicals, employee blood draws for the site’s lead program, and new employee EHS on-boarding activities.
As an intern at the Stein Seal Company and Lititz Sign Company, Jordan worked with the site safety team to provide day-to-day safety support. His major responsibilities included development of various programs, policies, procedures and associated training manuals in accordance with OSHA standards. Mr. Watson also assisted in facility risk assessments to identify and evaluate occupational hazards and was active in the sites’ Safety Committee meetings.
Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Environmental Health and an Associate degree in Technology from Millersville University in 2018. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies and traveling to different places.
