Natori Burgess is a Project Consultant working out of Colden’s New York City office with over three years of experience in environmental health and safety. At Colden, she assists clients with a range of industrial hygiene and safety technical services. Recently, she has worked in production safety and has provided COVID-19 health and safety support for television network production. Other consulting services have included quantitative evaluation of occupational noise exposures using sound level meters and personal noise dosimeters.
Natori began her career in environmental health and safety with the Madera County Division of Environmental Health, where she conducted safety and compliance inspections specific to food, water, septic systems, and hazardous waste. More recently, Natori was promoted to Workplace Health and Safety Specialist at Amazon, where she completed daily warehouse safety inspections along with safety trainings targeted towards decreasing workplace injuries/incidents. Natori helped launch multiple new sort centers and provided support and apprenticeship for new safety specialists. She partnered with the Operations and Learning Team to ensure safety policy implementation and standard operating procedures were implemented. Natori served as a First Responder, providing first-aid to all warehouse associates, and completed injury investigations and root cause analyses to develop effective corrective action plans.
Natori holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental/Occupational Health and Safety from California State University, Fresno and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from California University of Science and Medicine.
In her free time, Natori enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
