Senior Consultant Paul Webb contributes to November Issue of The Synergist

Colden senior consultant, Paul Webb, MPH, MBA, CIH, CSP, along with fellow co-authors from the AIHA Nanotechnology Working Group, has written an article that provides useful and practical information on some key considerations when evaluating exposures to engineered nanomaterials.  The article, “IH Practices for Assessing Nanomaterials Exposure”, is now available online in the November Issue of The Synergist.   The Synergist is published by the American Industrial Hygiene Association and focuses on technical information of interest to the industrial hygiene community, as well as other occupational and environmental health and safety professionals.

Abstract

“Characterizing exposures to nanomaterials poses unique challenges due to the limitations in information, equipment, and procedures.  Nevertheless, established industrial hygiene practices can be used to assess exposure risk to engineered nanomaterials (ENMs).”
