Colden will Exhibit at the 2019 AIHce EXP

Colden is excited to announce we will exhibit at the 2019 American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo (AIHce EXP) from May 20th – 22nd. The conference and expo will be at the Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC) in Minneapolis, MN. Colden’s Senior Consultant, Corey Briggs, MSPH, CIH, CET, FAIHA and Colden’s Project Consultant, Clint Smith, MS, CIH, CSP, LEED Green Associate will present PDC 107: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly – EHS at the Worst Plant. The course will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 8am – 5pm in room 101J at the MCC. The presentation will take attendees through a photographic tour of industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental issues at the worst plant in the world. Numerous forms of visual media are used to discuss the regulatory compliance issues noted. A full slate of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) topics will be covered (e.g., confined spaces, sub-part Z, air pollution, underground storage tanks, etc.). 

Senior Consultant, Corey Briggs, MSPH, CIH, CET, FAIHA will also be presenting PDC 404: Ensure Safe Entry Into Oddball Confined Spaces. The course will be on Sunday, May 19 from 8am – 5pm in room 101H at the MCC. The presentation will explore the world of confined space entry; OSHA’s construction standard, NFPA’s Guide for Safe Confined Space Entry & Work, and ASSE’s Z117.1. This PDC will compare and contrast these four documents. The information in these documents will be applied to a series of unique confined spaces to help participants identify, classify, and plan entry into atypical/complex spaces.
