Colden’s Senior Consultant, Corey Briggs, MSPH, CIH, CET, AIHA Fellow and co-presenter Benjamin Craig from Insight Risk will present an educational session at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Conference and Expo. The NFPA Conference and Expo will be hosted at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX from June 17th – 20th, 2019. The highly energized session “Freeze Frame – Focus on Health & Safety” will be presented on June 18th, 2019 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am in room 221B. The session will take attendees through a photographic tour of a fictitious workplace; attendees will be challenged to note the various issues illustrated and the applicable OSHA regulations & NFPA standards. The Presenters will provide case histories, facilitate group activities, and solicit group discussion on such topics as confined spaces, combustible dust, fire prevention plans, fire suppression systems and equipment, process safety management, and welding, cutting, and brazing/hot work.
