Colden will be exhibiting and presenting at the National Safety Council’s 55th Annual New Hampshire Safety and Health Conference. The conference will begin on Tuesday, May 19th and conclude on Wednesday, May 20th at the Doubletree by Hilton in Manchester, NH. In attendance will be Senior Consultant, Susan Reynolds, MS, CIH, Project Consultant, Kyle Blakely and EHS Specialist, Julie Corriveau.
Susan Reynolds, MS, CIH will present “Sound Advice: Making Sense of Workplace Noise and Control Measures” on Tuesday, May 19th. The session will cover occupational noise exposure, health impacts, and hearing conservation fundamentals.
The presentation will review regulatory requirements and practical approaches to managing noise exposure, including when and how to perform area measurements and personal dosimetry and how limits apply to extended shifts. It will summarize the essential components of a successful hearing conservation program, with an emphasis on engineering and administrative controls, supplemented by appropriate PPE, to reduce risk and protect long-term hearing.
