Colden’s Catherine Bobenhausen was recently re-appointed to the Technical Committee of the Health Product Declaration Collaborative

Colden’s Catherine Bobenhausen was recently re-appointed to the Technical Committee of the Health Product Declaration Collaborative, to serve for a 2-year term beginning March 7, 2019.

The primary role of this core group is to preserve the integrity of the content in the Health Product Declaration (HPD).  The HPD Open Standard is a standard specification for reporting accurately, reliably and consistently, product contents and associated health information, for products used in building design and construction.

The 17-member HPDC Technical Committee includes representatives from exemplary organizations including Saint Gobain, Google, Inc., Humanscale, Superior Essex, Industrial Louvers; the Copper Development Association; and several leading architectural firms. The HPD Open Standard specification is harmonized with programs of the International Living Future Institute, Cradle-to-Cradle Product Innovation Institute, Clean Production Action, BIFMA, LEED, WELL and a growing number of rating and certification standards in the building industry.
