Phillip Stepherson,

Project Consultant

Phillip Stepherson serves as a Project Consultant in Colden’s Philadelphia office, specializing in Industrial Hygiene. He supports various exposure assessment projects focused on occupational health and noise exposure assessments in the automotive, power generation and distribution, and chemical manufacturing industries.

Phillip holds a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Washington. His graduate studies focused on occupational noise, and his thesis research involved measuring environmental noise from oil and gas drilling operations in Colorado. He is currently working toward becoming a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

While in graduate school, Phillip served as the Student Liaison to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and remains a member of the AIHA national chapter. Prior to entering the field, he worked in sales, served in the Army Reserves, spent time researching in a physics lab, and spent a season working in Antarctica at McMurdo Station.

Outside of work, Phillip enjoys live music, cooking, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling.
