Keith Acosta,

EHS Specialist
Keith serves as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist based in Colden’s office in New Orleans, Louisiana. Keith conducts industrial hygiene sampling, chemical and physical exposure assessments, and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) surveys for clients in a variety of industries.
Keith completed his Master of Science in Environmental Health with a concentration in Occupational Health at Harvard University. His thesis focused on evaluating airborne and dust polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in homes impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Global and Public Health Sciences with a minor in Demography at Cornell University.
Prior to joining the Colden team, he gained experience as a health, safety and environmental intern at Eli Lilly and Company in Concord, North Carolina. Keith also worked in childhood lead poisoning prevention at the New England Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit at Boston Children’s Hospital.
In his free time, Keith enjoys practicing foreign languages (French, Spanish), cooking plant-based dishes, traveling to new places, and running.
