Giovanni Delgado

EHS Specialist

Working out of Colden’s Philadelphia area office, Giovanni Delgado serves as an EHS Specialist. He performs air quality sampling and project oversight for asbestos projects as well as building inspections. He conducts industrial hygiene exposure assessment services such as environmental monitoring associated with contaminated soil excavation and indoor air quality and noise assessments. Giovanni has also conducted respirator fit testing campaigns and fall protection inspections. He has over 15 years of experience in the asbestos industry as a consultant and a contractor.

Prior to joining the Colden team, Giovanni provided project monitoring and air sampling for New York City, New York State, and the State of New Jersey for a range of clients including hospitals, schools, commercial real estate properties and public works such as the MTA and Con Edison. He has provided building inspections for both New York State and New Jersey. Furthermore, he served as an Asbestos Abatement Supervisor for the New Jersey Department of Labor.

Giovanni currently holds certifications in Project Monitoring and Air Sampling for New York City and New York State, Asbestos Building Inspector for New York State and Pennsylvania, 10-HR OSHA, 30-HR OSHA, 8-HR HAZWOPER Supervisor and 40-HR HAZWOPER. Additionally, he received training in Track Safety for the MTA (New York City) and WMATA (Washington Metro Area). He is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and is on the Colden Safety Council.

In his free time, Giovanni enjoys outdoor activities such as archery, hiking, kayaking, as well as travelling to different parts of the world. He is an avid admirer of music, art, and cuisine from all cultures. He enjoys cooking meals and creating experiences with his son while venturing into the gaming world.
