Senior Consultant

Peter Bulman offers 25 years of occupational health and safety consulting experience.  Mr. Bulman is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).  He has evaluated industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental issues in manufacturing plants, paper mills, pharmaceutical plants, laboratories, quarries, and construction sites.  Mr. Bulman’s extensive field experience helps him to lead clients to understand, prioritize, and control their occupational health risks.  Prior to joining Colden, Mr. Bulman managed his own consulting firm specializing in environmental, health, and safety issues in the aggregates industry.

In addition to hands-on field projects, Mr. Bulman works with clients to achieve regulatory compliance and best practice excellence.  He provides program support ranging from corporate EHS audits to developing new programs for small businesses.  Projects have included writing and training for Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Permit-Required Confined Space, Lead-In-Construction, Silicosis Prevention, and Laboratory Safety programs.

Mr. Bulman’s career began at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where he served customers in New England in various capacities as a Safety Consultant.  For eleven years Mr. Bulman worked as a Senior Industrial Hygienist for Liberty’s customers in Upstate New York.

Mr. Bulman earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from Assumption College.
