Nicole M. Neu-Baker,

Health & Safety Research Specialist
Nicole Neu-Baker serves as a Health & Safety Research Specialist out of Colden’s Albany office, and has over 17 years of public health experience. Her areas of expertise include conducting exposure assessments for engineered nanomaterials for the semiconductor and emerging technologies workforces and hyperspectral microscopy methods development for rapid screening analysis of filter media used to capture engineered nanomaterials from worksites. Additionally, she has extensive grant writing and technical writing experience and has contributed to an ASTM International Standard Guide for the microscopic analysis of nanomaterials.
Nicole earned a Master of Public Health in Biomedical Sciences from the University at Albany School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience from Ithaca College. Nicole also holds a Certification in Public Health (CPH) from the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
At Colden, Nicole provides health and safety research support on a range of occupational health and safety topics. She previously served as a contractor for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for 10 years, where she published exposure assessment data from NIOSH evaluations at worksites where engineered nanomaterials are handled.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys camping and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
