Daniel Richards

EHS Specialist

Daniel Richards serves as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist out of Colden’s Albany office. Daniel currently performs air quality and other industrial hygiene related sampling for clients. He has safety experience in the semiconductor industry performing tool installation and removal support, inspections, and incident investigations. He currently holds certifications in 40-HR HAZWOPER, 10-HR OSHA, CPR/AED, FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, NFPA 70e, NCSH 46, and has taken general OSHA training such as OSHA 7500, OSHA 511, OSHA 3015, OSHA 7300, OSHA 3095.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety Applied Sciences and a minor in Construction Safety Sciences from Keene State College in Keene, NH. While in college, Daniel worked in safety insurance where he used applied learning to conduct risk assessments for workers compensation, property, general liability, and auto lines of business. He conducted quality control reviews on work completed by consultants and provided feedback.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys outdoor activities like golfing, skiing, hiking, as well as spending time with friends and family.
